The Sunbird Trust is a small charity founded in 2001 by two sisters, Judy Mackenzie and Jenny Worrall, as a result of their travels and experiences in India.

Voluntary co-ordinators identify where help would be most beneficial, predominantly through supporting an existing local project, and then oversee the distribution of funds and materials. This applies to all projects presently underway or planned in India, Sri Lanka and Southern Africa. Trustees, Jenny and Judy, visit projects personally whenever possible.

Administrative overheads are kept to a minimum, thus ensuring that donations go directly to where the need is greatest.  Comparatively small amounts of money and support can make a dramatic difference to these worthwhile projects.
